Recently, CCLD Networks won a bid to manage the IT services for the Wilmington Convention Center. The Wilmington Convention Center (WCC) opened in 2010 and includes 107,000 square feet of meeting space. The convention center is located right across from the Cape Fear River and offers wonderful views throughout the center.
“The city of Wilmington is a beautiful area and is growing at a very fast pace. We are very excited about the opportunity to work at the WCC. This a great opportunity for us to improve a few areas at the center and we look forward to working with the many clients that come to Wilmington.” – Thomas Lloyd, CCLD Networks Operations Director
CCLD Networks and the WCC have planned upgrades to various systems throughout the center. A few of the services to be upgraded include a new telephone switch, enhanced digital signage, and improved wireless networking. CCLD Networks will assist the administrative staff with ongoing networking improvements. For events, CCLD Networks will assist the WCC with providing show management, attendees and exhibitors a high level of customer service with their networking services.
“Wilmington is a wonderful fit for CCLD. The staff at the WCC are very knowledgeable about the hospitality industry and hopefully we can partner for many years to come to make our customers satisfied with their experience in Wilmington.” – Jim Jenkins, CCLD Networks Administration Director
