for a Successful EventFORT LAUDERDALE – (September 30, 2011) CCLD Networks has completed the installation of a new centrally managed Wi-Fi solution for the Broward County Convention Center. To maximize Wi-Fi coverage throughout the 600,000 square foot facility, CCLD Networks selected the Ruckus Wireless “Smart Wi-Fi” solution which provides Wi-Fi conenctivity in both the 2.4Ghz and 5.0GHz spectrums. With their innovative “dynamic beamforming” technology, the Ruckus Wireless solution provides dramatic improvements in Wi-Fi signal range, reliability and performance as well as the ability to automatically adapt to environmental changes which often present challenges on the exhibit floor. The new system provides visitors to the Center a robust Wi-Fi experience capable of adapting to the ever-changing environment of the convention center.

The upgrade was essential in providing the latest 802.11n wireless standard to attendees with newer generation laptops and smartphones, while continuing to provide 802.11b/g access for older devices. “We’ve been impressed with the coverage and throughput of the Ruckus access points,” said Lloyd, “it’s a vast improvement over the system that was replaced.
