Camera System Upgrade for Savannah

A few months ago, CCLD was asked to review the camera system that was being utilized by the Savannah International and Trade Convention Center. CCLD had partnered with the Georgia World Congress Center and Georgia Dome to upgrade existing analog cameras in several areas in Atlanta. In the Red Parking Deck alone, CCLD had installed over 100 new IP cameras with raving reviews from GWCCA management. With this experience on the new system in Atlanta, the SITCC was interested to see what may be able to be performed in Savannah.

After demonstrating the new camera system for the SITCC, the security department wanted the project to be done immediately to upgrade from the analog system to a new IP system. After the project was input into the budget, CCLD and the SITCC team worked together on a good time for the installation. Over a long weekend, CCLD completed installation of all of the new cameras, servers, fiber, cable, etc.

Avigilon cameras were used for this upgrade at the SITCC and are also being used for the upgrades in Atlanta. These cameras offer multiple views by multiple employees which allows for greater control and access. Images are clear and can be rotated, zoomed, expanded, bookmarked, etc. without issue.
