for a Successful EventOver the past few months, CCLD Networks has been installing new Fortinet wireless access points throughout the Georgia World Congress Center. Below is a summary of the capabilities of the new Fortinet access points.
These enterprise class Wi-Fi6 (802.11ax) indoor APs provide three radios. These top-of-the-line access points provide OFDMA, a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port plus an additional 1 Gbps Ethernet port for PoE diversity. The APs can be configured for dual 5 GHz band access while still providing coverage for devices on the 2.4 GHz band, or can be configured to offer dedicated scanning. The integrated BLE radio can be used for beacons and locationing applications.
During the recent IPPE and AHR events, download speeds were extremely strong and reliable throughout the facility. On the exbibit floor for both events, speed test results were showing around 50Mbps on average even in very dense areas of attendees and equipment. The AHR event had close to 50,000 attendees at the show and only a handful of troubles were reported which is rare for a show of this size.
